It is used as both a pre-emergent and early post-emergent herbicide for effective control of broadleaf weeds and some grasses. D-MAX offers residual activity, which provides long-lasting protection against weed emergence in crops like soybean and groundnut.

- Dosage:57.5 ml to 115 ml per acre (depending on weed intensity)
- Dilution: Use 150–200 liters of water per acre
- Method: Apply as uniform foliar spray using flat-fan nozzle during early post-emergence stage (weeds should be at 2–4 leaf stage)
- Frequency: Single application per season; use within 10–20 days after sowing maize
